"Jen provides an innovative and effective method of soft tissue pain relief. Through her years of experience, Jen has developed new methods to mobilize soft tissue and provide neuromuscular pain relief that (like the energizer bunny) keep on going to provide continued relief. Her techniques help the body revive and heal. As a chronic pain sufferer myself, I have experienced her help first-hand. Jen's work compliments that of doctors, chiropractors and physical therapists. They often refer to her, as Jen get good results in helping people back to wellness. Allowing Jen to reach her goal of being able to share her knowledge and expertise with other health care professionals will move the world of medicine ahead. Many people who live in pain will be able to return to a world of function and health." KA, Charlottesville, VA

"Two years ago I was seriously considering surgery as the only alternative to eliminate chronic debilitating hip pain. Luckily, I began therapy sessions with Jen. Her applications of neuromuscular pain relief and soft tissue mobilization techniques have significantly improved my quality of life and helped me delay surgery--perhaps indefinitely! Jen is highly intelligent and has an inquiring mind. She constantly seeks to increase her already impressive knowledge base in order to enhance her therapeutic capabilities. Study for her is a joy, not a chore. I believe Jen is truly gifted and I sincerely hope she can find a way to pass along her wisdom to others in the health care field in the form of teaching and writing. I have no doubt that many would benefit." PM, Charlottesville, VA

"I wanted to express my appreciation to Jen who has helped me heal from several acute and chronic injuries over the past few years. She is a uniquely skilled and conscientious therapist who is a 'miracle worker' with respect to eliminating pain and restoring the body's tissue back to normal functioning. Jen truly cares about her clients and shares with them a lot of helpful information on the prevention of illness and injury. As a health care professional, I believe that her having to leave the therapy field due to personal health problems will result in a great loss to the many people who might have depended on her exceptional healing abilities in the future. Those that have been in her care will certainly miss her but can feel very fortunate for the assistance she has provided. I hope she will be able to realize her goal of continuing to be of service by having the opportunity to write her books and develop her course curriculum." ND, Nelson County, VA

"Over the years I have had chronic problems with my hands, arms and shoulders. Doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists have called my pain and problems everything from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome to arthritis. By March 2000, I couldn't write a sentence without my right hand going numb. My dominant right arm had weakened to half the strengh of my left. Jen and her innovative soft tissue mobilization techniques have brought me back into the world of functioning. I can write again. I can garden again. I enjoy life again!" GM, Charlottesville, VA

"Last year, my Physician diagnosed me with Plantar Fasciitis, a painful condition making it difficult to walk. I began weekly sessions with Jen. The results were amazing! My Doctor couldn't believe my recovery rate, and I was freed from a debilitating diagnosis. I know a couple of other people with Plantar Fasciitis who are still going around the treatment circles of cortisone shots, and even surgery, and still suffer greatly. I feel blessed to have found Jen and have been helped by her amazing expertise." DF, Keswick, VA

"Living in pain is no fun. My diagnosis was grim-'keep living this way with pain medication'. I was living in a fog, could barely carry a gallon of milk in the house and sat like a stiff. Then my Physical Therapist told me about Jen, and how she worked with soft connective tissues. What a blessing. Jen was/is my answer. Not only does she have a special gift, but her knowledge of the body and how it all works together is beyond amazing. She needs to be able to teach this knowledge to others. Because Jen herself lives in pain and knows the reality of disability, she comprehends the needs of those in chronic pain. Jen has developed new and innovative approaches to pain relief that work!!" LH, Charlottesville, VA

"I am a chronic pain sufferer and have tried many different practitioners and medications to find relief. Jen was the first one who has been able to help me on a long-term basis. Building on her education, training and years of experience, she has developed techniques that are intuitively in harmony with the way bodies should work. The work she does gets to the core of the problem and relieves the pain. It makes me feel very hopeful about life again." JB, Fluvana County, VA

"Jen brings to her work as a soft-tissue therapist a degree of commitment and a depth of study that has helped me immeasureably over the past four years. She adds to them a genuine concern and affection for her clients and an interest in their concerns and progress that give an unusual dimension to her efforts. She combines skill and care in a remarkably effective way, and I am the grateful beneficiary." JP, Fluvana County, VA

"After trying a number of therapeutic modalities for a complex injury, I found Jen's to be the most effective. In addition to a thorough knowledge of her field, Jen's life long study and practice afford her an unusual talent in accessing the body's own intelligence as a primary function of her work. I highly recommend her." LL, Charlottesville, VA

"Jen uses her incredible intellect and spirit in her uniquely broad approach to Soft Tissue Pain Relief methods. She incorporates her ability to read and resolve the body's imbalances with personal client-centered instruction on self-care, supported by information from her extensive reference library. I pray she will have the chance to share this knowledge with others, as she is one in a million!" KJ, Nelson County, VA

"For several years, I suffered from severe jaw, neck and shoulder pain. I saw countless doctors and chiropractors, with no significant success. I began seeing Jen about 4 years ago. I had never worked with someone who was so intuitive. She knew where I hurt without me telling her. She believes in treatment that does not cause pain, yet is very effective in reducing the pain you are experiencing. Jen has been more than generous with her time and care. She cares deeply for her patients." LN, Ruckersville, VA

"I have been working with Jen for about one year. In September 2001, I injured my back trying to get in shape. The doctors were all for injections into my spine and surgery. They couldn't tell me exactly what they were going to cut, but wanted to look around. Not a good option in my opinion. The next step was Physical Therapy. This caused more pain (I ended up feeling worse) and I later found out more damage. So, I went to a Chiropractor. He put things in place but found some muscle damage. He suggested Jen, and I thank him every time I see him. Jen has helped me so much! I plan to be playing golf again very soon! Getting older is not a piece of cake when you have been hard on your body in your younger days. Having a person work with you who is as knowledgeable as Jen, is a gift. She keeps me going so that I can enjoy the sports that I love. CF, Keswick, VA
